Screen Printing

Screen printing is ideal for large prints or a non heavy print for light materials such as singlets and t-shirts. We can do 1, 2 or 3 colour prints with 1 colour print jobs being the cheapest option.

Screen printing is much more cost effective in larger quantity orders of 30+ however we can do smaller jobs with 10 garments being our minimum requirement for a screen print order. The more you get the cheaper the price is per print with screen print!

Method: screen printing is the method of pushing ink through a framed silk mesh screen to create a print.

Firstly, a design is transferred to a stencil that is then applied to a porous screen and set using a light sensitive emulsion. A UV light hardens the emulsion on the screen except in the areas covered by the stencil, leaving tiny holes in the shape of the design for the ink to pass through. Ink is then pushed through the screen using a squeegee or roller, creating a layer of ink that combines with the material to make the print.

Material: Cotton, Polyester, Nylon

We require high quality file types such as original EPS (Vector) or high resolution PDF for any logos or complex designs to be printed. If you cannot provide the required files we can have them redrawn at a fee. No set up fee is charged for basic lettering or numbers.

Screen print orders generally take 7 – 14 days from time of order. This gives us enough time to order in the garments to be printed, then print them.
